SWS Environmental Services Announces Hiring of Zimmer as Company President
Panama City Beach, FL - August 12, 2015 – SWS Environmental Services (SWSES) announced today that Eric Zimmer has joined the company as President. Eric brings to the role significant experience in leading organizational transformations.
In his position Mr. Zimmer will be responsible for implementing a strategic growth plan focused on penetrating new markets, enhancing business development processes, improvements to planned project delivery, and an enhanced customer experience. He is charged with building upon the company’s extensive capabilities, resources and client relationships to accelerate its growth.

Eric’s career has included roles as Chief Marketing Officer, Divisional General Manager and Executive Vice President of Sales. He earned an MBA from Southern Methodist University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Missouri.
Mr. Zimmer has more than twenty-five years’ experience in the environmental services industry including a variety of executive positions focused on strategy, revenue growth, mergers & acquisitions, turnarounds, restructuring, operational improvement and cultural transformation. Most recently he served as CEO and President of Synagro Technologies, a $350 million organic residuals company where he successfully led a comprehensive restructuring.
